Melasma Peel is an incredibly effective chemical peel that reduces the signs of melasma caused by excessive sun exposure on the skin’s surface.
Melasma refers to a tan or dark skin coloration in patches on your skin’s surface. It usually occurs due to excessive melanin production because of overexposure to the sun, hormonal changes, genetic predisposition, or other factors.
The Melasma Peel contains specifically-formulated chemicals and enzymes that suppress the hyperactive melanocytes (melanin-producing cells). As such, the Melasma Peel reduces the pigmented spots and addresses the root cause of melasma, reducing future occurrences. Melasma Peel is suitable for all skin types.

You’ll have to wear the Melasma Peel mask for 6 to 8 hours after the in-office session. Once the mask is washed off, your skin will appear swollen and red for a few days. Your skin will gradually start peeling in 4 to 5 days to expose the smoother skin underneath. The redness and irritation last for less than a week.
The results will gradually become apparent as the older skin tissues peel away within a week. The underlying skin will be smoother, softer, and more even-textured. Some patients need multiple sessions for optimal results.
Your Melasma Peel starts with a personal consultation with our exceptionally skilled medical aesthetician, Miriam. She assesses your skin quality, reviews your medical history, and discusses your cosmetic goals. She also uses the Observ 3D imaging technology to create an advanced skincare profile and visualize the final results of your treatment. Miriam explains each step of the treatment process, so you know what to expect.
Our medical aesthetician cleanses the skin on your treatment areas. She gradually paints the melasma peel over your face. Once the mask has been applied to your face, you’ll be instructed to wash it off in 6 to 8 hours. You’ll be sent back home with the necessary post-care products.
You have to wash the melasma peel off in 6 to 8 hours after the session. Your skin will look red, flushed, swollen, and sensitive for several days. You must use all the recommended skincare products for 2 to 4 weeks to ensure optimal results and recovery. The old and damaged skin will gradually peel off within a week to reveal smoother skin underneath. Our provider will inform you if you need additional sessions.
