Chemical peels are skincare products with a special concoction of enzymes and acids that address your specific skin concerns to restore a youthful and flawless appearance.
Chemical peels are non-surgical and topical treatments that improve your skin’s overall texture and appearance. Each chemical peel is prepared with unique components and ingredients, but they have similar underlying goals. They exfoliate and “peel” the outermost layers of your skin with the pigmentation problems, sun damage, and other concerns, replacing them with fresh, new, and youthful skin. The chemical solutions make your dull and tired skin peel off to reveal the smooth and even-textured skin underneath.
We use the cutting-edge Observ skin analysis technology to produce a detailed profile of your skin and visualize the results of different chemical peels. As such, you can visualize the results beforehand and select the ideal peels.
30 to 90 minutes
Mild to severe redness and swelling, depending on the intensity of the chosen chemical peels. Some of the more severe chemical peels also involve downtime of 3 to 4 days.
Your skin will start peeling off in 3 to 4 days, revealing the smooth, even-textured, and flawless skin underneath. Most patients notice optimal results within 2 weeks.
Your chemical peels treatment starts with a private consultation with our brilliant medical aesthetician, Miriam. She carefully examines your skin quality and reviews your medical history to identify the ideal chemical peel formulation for your specific needs. We also use the Observ skin analysis technology to visualize the final results of various peels to find the ideal treatment for your unique needs. Miriam curates the ideal chemical peel treatment and walks you through the entire process.
The aesthetician will cleanse your skin to remove all the dirt, makeup debris, and excess oil. The chosen chemical peel will be painted over your skin with a brush or applicator. You may feel a tingling sensation on your skin at this stage. Depending on the chosen peel, the provider may wash it off during your in-office sessions, or you may be instructed to wash it off after 6 to 8 hours at home. After washing off the chemical peel, your provider will apply cold compresses and soothing lotions to soothe and protect your skin. If you have to wear the peel for several hours, the provider will provide several at-home products and instructions.
Your skin will feel red and swollen for a day or two after the treatment. You’re advised to apply the given skincare products to soothe your skin. Your skin will gradually start peeling off in 3 to 4 days, revealing the softer and smoother skin underneath. Superficial chemical peels don’t necessitate social downtime, but some of the more intense peels may necessitate a social downtime of several weeks. Depending on your skin concerns, you may also have to repeat the treatment a few times for optimal results. Your aesthetician will inform you about the optimal frequency.
