It is important that you take enough time away from work, school, or other activities to recover following your nose surgery. The first few days after surgery it is normal to see some swelling and bruising, which you may not want to share. Most people plan on two weeks off work or prior to social events to recover. Your nose will feel congested for about a week after surgery, and you may experience some discomfort, which is managed with prescription pain medication. After the second week, although your nose will not have reached its ultimate shape, others are not likely to notice the residual swelling, and the new nose shape will be revealed.
The range of rhinoplasty in Toronto is usually around $5,000 to $12,000, with an average cost being $7,500. The cost is determined by the specific factors involved in the surgery.

There are two options for incision placement, either from within the nostrils (closed rhinoplasty), or on the strip of tissue between the nostrils called the columella (open rhinoplasty). The type of incision required will be based upon the extent of the corrections needed. In either case, after you have recovered, the incision will be virtually invisible to others.
You should arrange for a friend or family member to drive you home after surgery and stay with you to assist you on the first night if possible. You will be tired after surgery, and potentially groggy from medication and will need a bit of help on the first day and night.

Rhinoplasty surgery can resolve the breathing problems associated with a deviated septum, providing relief and free breathing.
The main issue is the physical maturity of the patient. The surgery can be performed on teenagers at about age fifteen or sixteen if your facial growth is complete.
You should plan to take at least one week off of work or school following a rhinoplasty procedure.
An ideal candidate for rhinoplasty is in good health overall and who is very unhappy with nose shape, size, or projection, and fully understands what to expect in the procedure and recovery time.
You will likely experience some pain and discomfort following your rhinoplasty surgery, which can be managed with prescription pain medication, typically only needed in the first few days. The discomfort fades quickly, with the main annoyance being a stuffy nose sensation.
Open rhinoplasty is performed through an incision created on the underside of your nose, on the columella, the thin strip of tissue between your nostrils, allowing greater access the structure of your nose. Closed rhinoplasty is performed using only incisions within the nose and is appropriate for less extensive nose reshaping procedures.
You can expect some swelling and bruising following your rhinoplasty. This should subside within two to three weeks following your surgery.
Sleeping with your head elevated while you recover will allow you to breathe easier and be more comfortable. Ice packs can be applied to help relieve swelling.
Depending on individual factors such as the type of rhinoplasty surgery you are having performed and the extent to which your nose needs to be refined in shape and structure, your rhinoplasty surgery could take from one to three hours to complete.
Rhinoplasty improve your appearance, health, and your self-confidence. Rhinoplasty can ease snoring, repair a deviated septum, repair a nose which has been broken, misshapen, too large, has a droopy tip, or other aesthetic problem, or revise a previously performed rhinoplasty that failed to meet your expectations or was botched.
Each rhinoplasty a surgeon performs is a unique procedure. Since there are many differences physiologically between men and women, each procedure requires a careful evaluation of facial structure and balance, based upon the gender of that patient.
