Dr. Michael Roskies is one of a handful of surgeons in the world to have dual fellowship training in both Head & Neck Microvascular Reconstruction and Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery. Born and raised in Montreal, he graduated with honors from McGill University Medical School, winning the prestigious Stewart Prize given by his peers to the student most ready to practise the profession.
During his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery, he obtained his Master of Science degree investigating the use of 3D printing for facial reconstruction and was part of the team that performed the first 3D-printed bioinert nose transplant ever. Dr. Roskies then completed microvascular reconstruction training at the Cleveland Clinic, consistently ranked as one of the top hospitals in the United States and is currently refining his techniques in cosmetic surgery under the mentorship of renowned surgeon Dr. Jamil Asaria in Toronto.
Over the course of his career, he has been granted over 25 scientific awards and scholarships, has published dozens of academic articles and 2 book chapters and has presented his work both at the national and international level.
