The neck ages like the rest of the face. When the skin starts to sag and loses its elasticity, fat can accumulate, creating a “double chin” appearance. Neck liposuction, also referred to as submental liposuction, is designed to remove stubborn fat from below the chin.

Neck liposuction removes the bulge and restores the lines between the neck and face. Neck liposuction requires an incision along the natural crease just under your chin. Depending on your age and your skin’s elasticity, neck liposuction may be combined with a neck lift to tighten any loose skin.
