The OxyGeneo technology provides better results than most facials because it takes a multi-pronged approach to skincare. The device exfoliates the upper layers of the skin to remove dead skin cells, unclog the pores, and smoothen the skin’s surface. The treatment also stimulates the formation of CO2 bubbles in the upper layers of the skin to trigger the Bohr Effect, a physiological response wherein your body internally oxygenates the skin by replacing the CO2. Your OxyGeneo facial treatment starts with a personal consultation with Miriam, our exceptionally skilled and talented medical aesthetician. She carefully examines your facial skin, reviews your medical history, and discusses your cosmetic goals. Based on your goals, she selects the ideal OxyGeneo treatment modality for optimal results. She also uses the Observ 3D imaging platform to visualize the final results with different treatment modalities to identify the ideal approach.
The medical aesthetician cleanses the treatment areas and paints the chosen treatment gel over the skin. She starts buffing away the skin’s surface using the OxyGeneo handheld device, a process that may produce some foam on your skin. The treatment doesn’t include lasers or vacuums. As such, you may feel a gentle tingling sensation but no discomfort. Your face may also feel a little red and warm, indicating increased blood circulation around the treatment areas. Finally, the foam is washed off, and some more gel is massaged into your face.
