Next-Generation Vitamin C Formulations

Known forr their advanced formulations using L-Ascorbic Acid USP, Vivier Skin offers eight unique Vitamin C serums catered to various skin concerns. Formulated with a patented delivery system, you can be rest assured that your Vivier Vitamin C serum is penetrating to the dermis of the skin, with little-to-no irritation unlike other formulations on the market.

L-Ascorbic Acid is both a preventative and protective anti-oxidant essential to your daily skincare routine. Scientific research has proven Vitamin C to protect against the sun’s harmful UV rays, offering further protection when used synergistically with sunscreen.

A powerful anti-oxidant, Vitamin C neutralizes free radicals and prevents oxidative stress caused by various internal and environmental elements. Using a Vivier Vitamin C serum will protect and improve the integrity of your skin, improving fine lines, wrinkles, and texture, while improving collagen production to restore the skin’s youthful glow. Ask your skincare specialist at FACE Toronto about which Vitamin C would best suit your skin.

GrenzCine by Vivier Skin

Polyamines are an indispensable anti-aging ingredient, an organic compound that is naturally occurring in the human body. Polyamines allow for proper skin function, from new cell growth, to supporting skin cells to prolong their survival. Polyamine levels in the body decline as we age, causing visible aging and thinning of the skin.

Vivier Skin designed GrenzCine™, four specialty products powered by Polyamine-DAB™ (1,4-diaminobutane) and Vitamin C. Encompassing a facial serum, eye cream, neck cream, and body cream, these products target thin skin to improve firmness, diminishing fine lines and wrinkles, while hydrating and restoring luminosity of the skin.

At FACE Toronto, we recommend GrenzCine™ products for all skin types. From pre-conditioning the skin for surgery, to maintaining results from your TCA peel, GrenzCine’s™ unique ability to reverse several years of accumulation of unwanted signs of aging makes these products an effective solution and an essential preventative for your skin.

Skin Philosophy

Specializing in facial cosmetic surgery, we take pride in our ability to attain natural, balanced, and personalized results for our patients. At FACE Toronto, our approach to all surgical and non-surgical procedures performed by Dr. Asaria have one thing in common; skincare.

What is skincare, and why do we provide it?

Skincare is a preventative and preparatory measure that will improve the integrity of your skin through careful selection and consistent topical use. By nourishing and protecting your skin prior to any procedure, the skin's ability to heal and sustain results will be enhanced. This is the number one reason why we encourage our patients to consider implementing specific pharmaceutical-grade skincare tailored to optimize surgical results.

Our passionate team of medical professionals are confident in serving our patients a wide variety of skincare backed by years of extensive clinical research to directly target various skin concerns. Through the combination of skin treatments such as chemical peels and platelet-rich plasma (PRP) facial rejuvenation with skincare, we are able to target difficult-to-treat skin concerns that have accumulated over time.

Our Approach

The reality is, skincare exists to improve the longevity of our youthful complexion. If you are experiencing qualities of your skin that you dislike or would like to improve, combining various treatments with topical skincare is a great way to make that change. However, it doesn't have to be complicated.

Vivier Skin (one of our favoured skincare brands at FACE Toronto) operates on a simplistic approach to skincare by compartmentalizing your routine into four categories; prepare, target, moisturize, protect.

Prepare

Preparing the skin includes cleansing, toning, and pre-conditioning the skin for your target products. Would you feel calm and productive in a dirty, disorganized workspace? Probably not. By cleaning and providing balance to the skin, you can be rest assured that your products working optimally without trapping any impurities.

Target

Target is the second integral step of your skincare routine. Think of your skin concerns, and use target products to achieve improvement - it's that simple. Skin concerns such as hydration and dullness can be quite easy to treat through target products. However, if you're trying to target tricky skin concerns like hyperpigmentation or acne, reach out to us so we can assist you in making the right choice.

Moisturize

Moisturizer is a fundamental part of your skincare routine that you shouldn't leave out. Oily skin? You especially should be using a moisturizer. There are different formulations for different skin types, and what's wonderful is that they often provide further benefit to your skin - don't miss out!

Protect

Protecting your skin against harmful UV rays is an investment you should never ignore. UVA, UVB, and UVC rays are known culprits causing wrinkles, pigmentation, skin cancer, and the list goes on. This step indicates the application of sunscreen. If you would rather not invest in a cleanser or moisturizer, we would hope you take the time to select a sunscreen to keep your skin safe and youthful for the rest of your life.

I just invested in surgery, now you want me to invest in skincare?

Imagine your skin as the beautiful garden in your back yard. Your garden features a unique contour and aesthetic, boasting a variety of flowers and lush greenery, accompanied by mulch and decor to add refinement and completion. Gardens are customizable; you are able to add or take away from your garden until it is just right. But in order for your garden to thrive and continue flourishing, you need to feed your garden with water, sunlight, fertilizer, and nutrient-rich soil. Without these necessities to promote growth and livelihood, your plants may not survive.

The reality is, you need to look at your skin the exact same way. While some surgeries focus on the underlying structure of your face, majority of our procedures target the laxity of the skin. Laxity refers to the looseness or overall quality of the skin which is often impacted by aging, genetics, sun damage, and the diminished production of collagen and elastin in the skin.

It's inevitable - once you undergo your surgical journey at FACE Cosmetic Surgery, your skin will still continue to change over time. It is in your best interest to maintain your investment by using protective and preventative skincare to topically improve the laxity of your skin, stimulating collagen and elastin, and protecting the skin against the sun; taking care of the garden which is your skin.

Practice Policy Update Regarding COVID-19

Dear Patients:

At FACE Toronto we are committed to protecting the safety of our patients, staff, and the general public while maintaining our high standard of quality care. As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, we have made changes to our patient care practices in accordance with all provincial and Public Health recommendations. Our team has been working diligently on enhancing our safety protocols to protect the well-being of our patients, team members, and families. We would like to highlight how we are providing a safe environment for you and our team:

  • We will be pre-screening all patients that are scheduled to come into our office for any symptoms of COVID-19. We will ask patients to stay home with symptoms of COVD-19, chronic lung disease, severe asthma, serious heart conditions, and uncontrolled type 1 diabetes. A mandatory Covid-19 consent form must be filled out before arrival to the clinic and temperature checks will be administered upon entering the building.
  • We have implemented a policy for the safety and testing of our staff members including daily screening and temperature checks. We will be maintaining physical distancing as much as possible throughout the office for staff and patients.
  • The timing of patient visits has been adjusted in order to limit the number of people in the office at a given time and to allow for enhanced disinfecting and cleaning protocols we have put in place in between patients.
  • We request that patients come on their own to all appointments unless absolutely necessary. We are not servicing any walk-in patients and not allowing visitors or children to accompany any patient.
  • For your safety all of our staff will be wearing masks when interacting with patients in the office and routine hand-washing is required.
  • We request that you wear a mask. If you do not have a mask, a mask will be provided. Hand sanitation stations will be available upon entering and throughout the office.
  • We are pleased to offer virtual visits as an option for non-urgent appointments. The software we have in place provides appropriate safety and privacy for the interaction.
  • We have increased our in-office cleaning. All areas of patient traffic are regularly cleaned throughout the day. All treatment rooms are cleaned between every patient encounter. All chairs and table tops in the waiting room as well as treatment rooms will be wiped down between patients, including counters, keyboards and door handles. Our credit/debit card terminal will be disinfected after each use. We have also enhanced the air filtration quality in our space to provide patients with surgically clean air.

We are so excited to welcome you back and look forward to continuing to help our patients look and feel their best! We encourage you to reach out to our office now to schedule your appointment. Please feel free to contact our team by phone at 416-479-4244 or email at [email protected].
